Hi, I’m Anita — a movement therapist and Feldenkrais practicioner
After years of struggling with chronic pain, I discovered a way to reset how my body moves— The Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education ® — and it changed everything. I loved it so much, I decided to become a practitioner. Now I’m excited to share this work with you!
Who’s This For?
The Feldenkrais Method can help if you’re dealing with:
tension or pain in your neck, back, shoulder, or jaw
lingering pain that won’t quite resolve
wanting to move more easily in daily life (walking, exercise, etc.)
changes in your body, like during pregnancy, postpartum, or after surgery
What do You Offer?
I teach Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons, typically in small group classes. We’ll “update your operating system” through slow, guided explorations, that help you notice patterns in how you move—and discover options that feel easier and more comfortable.
I also offer Functional Integration (FI), which is a personalized, one-on-one version of this work. We start by talking about where there’s tension, what feels stuck or imbalanced. I observe how you move (walking, turning, etc.), and then you’ll lie on a table while I gently guide movement—lifting an arm, moving a shoulder, supporting a leg. It’s all designed to help your nervous system sense new possibilities and reorganize.
